TOWNSVILLE is widely referred to as the capital of North Queensland. It is positioned 1400km from Brisbane and 500km north of the Tropic of Capricorn in the Dry Tropics of beautiful North Queensland. The College itself is located at the foot of Mt. Louisa, only minutes from the city centre and within easy access to the Northern Beaches.
The natural setting is a unique feature of our school, which we have taken care to preserve and enhance. This provides a welcome calm away from the hubbub of the city.
The College is situated on 60 acres of semi-developed bushland. The campus boasts spacious fully air-conditioned classrooms, a well equipped Library, spacious Manual Arts Utilities, multi purpose Home Economics Room which can also be used as a conference room and the latest in Computers and technology. Our state of the art Science Laboratories ensure students can engage fully in explorations in science studies.
Students enjoy our Music, Art and Drama facilities. Our Media Room is used to present multi-media shows and has access to Click View videos. The College facilities also include a 25 metre Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, playing fields and a Beach Volley Ball Court. The Calvary Campus offers a large auditorium which is used for school assemblies and other major events.
